The exchange rate you should use should be the date of your last pay slip. This is mentioned in the guidelines.

The pound has appreciated against most currencies; so unless your country had actually had a currency crisis (which it hasn't had) then there would be no grounds for the caseworker to use another exchange rate. You will simply have to apply with points from the lower earnings band; bad luck and all that, but it can't be helped.

And what will be case if my previous earnings are still few pounds (less than 20 pounds ) less than next band...

there is clause in caseworker docs that says the a date from past can be considered due to economic problems of county. In my country pound is raising by leaps and bounds...

can you please give me some link for that form from CBR web site. I'm going to submit IT-2 "RETURN OF TOTAL INCOME/STATEMENT OF FINAL TAXATION" which my employer used to submit tax return. that is not stamped.

Is there any senior member who can answer my second question:

Can "Certificate of Collection or Deduction of Income Tax (under rule 42)" from employer be considered as tax return document in Pakistan? It does not have Stamp from Income tax dept. but is used to submit with Income Tax return
