I need advise regarding Landlord letter, I have two formats of letter i don't know which one is perfect for our requirement.

Both formats are below :

1. Number one

To Whom It May Concern

Date: xx-xx-xxxx

From,

<Land Lord Name & Address Details>

Subject: No Objection Letter

This is to confirm that Mr.<your Name> has rented a (1 or 2 or 3) bed room (flat or house) <Flat or house address> managed by us. The (flat / house ) has enough space to accommodate his spouse <Spouse Name> and we have no objection on accommodating his spouse to be on his rented (flat / house).

Please do not hesitate to contact me in case if you need any further details/clarification.

Yours Sincerely,
<Land lord Name>

< Land lord Address Details>
< Land lord Contact number and mail id details>

2. Number Two

To whom it may concern,

My tenant xxxx has been living in my property since xx-xx-xxxx. The tenancy agreement was renewed on xx-xx-xxxx. This agreement is for two years but I am happy for the tenant to renew it for however many times they wish to do so.
The sum of £xxx is the rent per calendar month. This amount does not include any bills, the gas and electric is on a prepaid key system.
I am happy to allow tenant(Name) to live with her husband(Name), in my property, with the same terms in place as agreed upon earlier. The property is spacious enough for Tenant’s(Name) brother,Tenant’s(Name) and her husband, upon his arrival to live there comfortably, without becoming overcrowded. The property entails two double sized bedrooms, one living room, a Spam and in-house toilet and bathroom. The property also accommodates an extra loft room and the advantage of a back garden and a drive in.
If you still wish to contact me in regards to any of the above, you can do so on.

Your Sincerely,

Landlord Name.

xxxxxx--------xxxx-----------xxxxxxx

Now im confused which one is perfect plus second one is my situation because i live with my brother but i think letter should be simple and short.
I would certainly go with the second letter... it covers all the points the eco would look for ... it's not that important to mention brother unless he is on the same tenancy as yourself .

Housing inspection report is what will back up all the information contained so in Shaa Allah everything should go smoothly
Thank you soo much im not confused anymore :D

Hello everyone

Much likr others before me I have been a silent reader on theforums just to see the pprogress of other visa applications and I thought I'd share my experience. I iniitially applied last year through a "solicitor" and it was rejected (rightfully so) as I had left work and they eco had checked with hmrc. I gained employment in september at a new joband waited to accumulate 6 months payslips before applying- I then applied for a spouse visa for my wife. I did a alot of research on government websites and made a list of all the docs that I needed to submit and hence I did the case myself.
Alhamdulillah my wife got her visa on Friday. I am posting this message because I want to share my experience so that you can put your minds at ease as I know its a stressful period.
Biometrics @ islamabad : 12th March 2015
Application recieved email : 18th March 2015
Requested update : 24th May 2015 (further enquiries)
Application processed email : 27th May 2015
Collected Visa : 28th May 2015

I am simply making two points:

1) if your case is straightforward and legit (eg, earning more than £18,600) then do some research and do it yourself and do it yourself

2) Dont listen to any theories...Don't stress when you get emails such as "delayed fof further checks"
This is a standard procedure.

Anyways best of luck to everyone I hope you will all be united with your loved ones soon inshAllah.

Hi I have another update sorry could not find your file and you waited beyond the time but your application has now been found and it is either been processed or delayed for further checks so the wait goes on, the up side is they found my file.

Hey, everyone! I applied on the 19th of March and naturally I've been expecting an update since last week as most of the applicants who applied in that week have heard back. I guess the anticipation is a bit unnerving so I have a silly question, people who have received processed emails..what time of the day have you received it? Can the High Commission contact you anytime before 5pm (closing time)?

In general terms the email can come anytime .. some people get it during the night strangely and some even when the embassy is closed .. this could be due to the emails being auto generated or sent from a sub contracted agency in other words HGS who contact at the most daftest times.
But as a norm it's overnight and early hours of morning for pakistan

Just keep faith and in Shaa Allah you will hear soon.
If your eager there is no harm in you contacting them through ukvi email form

AoA to all,
Many congrats to all who received their visas. And those who are waiting will get their soon In sha Allah.
My question is 12 week time scale to process application starts from online application or biometric submission along with original documents?
Many thanks
Khan.

WailaikumSalam Warahamtullahi Wabarakathu,

Allahuma Baarik - mashAllah - very good news - esp as you did it a bit different way.

To be honest, that is the way it should be done - the least waiting - where you submit online application before marriage and thus only had to wait 2/2 and half months - from application start date and now.

Well done - All thanks is to Allah .

The 12 weeks begins from the date you take the biometric.

The 28 day rule for documents is from the time the online application has been submitted

Thinking about it - it is same - the application only gets looked at once biometric is done - you need marriage certificate for biometric - thus not much difference.

The only thing that is different is that online application was done before - doesn't really start process until you go to biometric - and ofc if your in Pakistan for about 4 weeks for marriage - then person is away from spouse for about 7-8 weeks rather than 10-12 weeks.

Thank you!!!! :D

It is a very overwhelming feeling...

The reason I did the online application and got all my papers in order was because after marriage i stayed Pakistan for 4 weeks, so I didnt want to come back and wait 12 weeks from them, instead I did it a week after marriage/walima and that way it seemed less, works out I have been away from my husband for 7 weeks as I came back to the UK 11th April.. rather than 10weeks.

Goodluck to you all, Inshallah you will be fine, keep faith and always recite Alhamdulilah.
