Hello. i am very new to this forum. so hello to all.
i came here in 2009, and got my ILR in 2012 back of marriage to my uk spouse in 2010.
going through a divorce which will finalise in aug as nisi received.
i was planning to apply for citizenship next week using through NCS on 3 years marriage route as still married at the date of application.
i am also getting re-married to non EEA resident in sept.
My question:
a) Would you recommend me using 5 years route since i am going through divorce?
b) do you think ukba will find suspicious if i tick married in the application, and then tell them i am divorced once absolute is received and then in sept, i tell them that i am married again (since they want the applicant to inform ukba of any change in personal events?
c) can i apply spouse visa for my new spouse to be (non EEA national) on my current status i.e. with ILR? i was told that its quicker and much less complicated if i get my british citizenship?
d) would you recommend i delay my application till i get my divorce finalised, apply visa for my new spouse based on my ILR and once that is granted, i can then apply for naturalisation on 5 years route, otherwise ukba might find it very odd (as mentioned in b) question above)
await your advise...
