Cuba and UK marriage advice????

Post by emmacuba » Sun Oct 14, 2007 3:54 pm

Does anyone know the specific details of marrying a cuban. I am UK citizen and wish to marry my Cuban boyfriend so we can live together in the UK. Do we have to get married out there or can he enter on a fiance visa? Any help appreciated x

If a fiancé visa is obtained, yes he can enter the UK and then the two of you can get married in the UK.

Alternatively ... and I have not got a clue about Cuban procedure .... you go to Cuba and the two of you marry there .... then he could apply for a spouse visa to go to the UK.

Have a look on the British Embassy, Havana website and follow the UKVisas link from the main page.
