They have made it harder to appeal in nearly all cases
The expect the ukba to change deicions if error in law or other issues under term administrative review

And all human rights to first tier

Oh okay I appealed after this date purely because I was missing one bank statement I shouldn't have put the first one in because my last pay slip wasnt reflecting on my last bank statement so ideally I should have put in the one after.. But my financial was 100% I met the requirement

They acknowledged that I got paid cash and might have spent some money and put some in bank, but they said it's now legal to show exact figure going into the account then u can spend as much of that as u want by withdrawing it.

So my long six months process starts from now. In Shaa Allah next time will be an accept and hopefully will carry on working hard.

This time I will tell me part time employer to pay exact amount straight into my account.

Also u guys probably know this but Spouse Visa fee has gone up to £956. :(

I'll be doing dua for guys that are still waiting and hope u guys do dua for me.

Thanks.
Plus you will also have to pay the Healthcare Surcharge of £600.

All,
Guys I have been reading a lot regarding appeal changes so thought I share my experience. Changes in appeal process is for tier 1 to tier 4 settlement visa I.e none British nationals settled in UK. There is no changes is appeal process for British nationals as its technically human rights as this is ur right to live with your spouse and it has impact in your life. Please check with proper immigration lawyers not some one sitting in corner shop claiming to be one.

Recently 2 people have imprisonment sentences given for providing wrong advice. Please check or scroll hundreds of pages and you will find it that there is no such change for spouse visa for British citizens. Also I am yet to see but the 30 day visa thing is a myth as yet, because I also been told that visa is exactly the same I.e 33 months.
I applied in March refused in April seek proper advise and decide to apply again in April. Refusal was only that we did not attach proof of contact. Include marriage cert, pics etc but not enough obviously couldn't be bother to wait so decide to reaaply although solicitor said there is strong possibility for it to be overturned.

I pray for SajjadUk and others, we have same name al ham du lillah Bruv. If u do or even have good intentions for other angels help you. May Allah grant every one visas soon Ameen

You applied in March and got decision in April and submitted a new application in April. That was a quick! Hope you are successful this time around. Just goes to show it pays to be prepared and tick all their boxes. Better to wait and get everything together and make application rather than to go through the hassle of going through the process all over again. Having said that sometimes you can get refused for the silliest of reasons which you could never have imagined and which seem to defy reason.

@sajj79 I base my replies if any quoted for example government websites and yes people can appeal after 6th April under human rights as I have said quoted.

People have contradicting views and experiences so if anyone seeks help users on here can only can help by sharing own experiences. Look at many people who have turned to lawyers and have been given wrong info like one user we had yesterday who said their solicitor advised you fill out form vaf4a by hand.

It's down to people to share experiences and knowledge but also seek legal advice also. I submitted my wife's case including bro in laws which mashallah was successful and a few others purely by research, experiences shared and the legal knowledge I have due to work related .

Have a clean intention and in Shaa Allah god is witness to this that I would feel worthy of being a good muslim if anyone can be helped in anyway from my help.

God bless and may angels help you also
May Allah swt bless you also and I personally appreciate your post
P.s I don't think anyone would ever have any wrong intention on here to help others and I say this on behalf of others who try and help

@ Adnan
First application 9th March
Refused 14th March (I decide not to appeal)
Fresh application with proof of contact 25th April
Waiting for response

@ SajjadUk

Bruv I was actually praising you, jazak Allah for all your help to others. I never meant to say you are wrong but things are changing so rapidly even some solicitors are confused they are just mixed up with 2 diff things. Even UKBA website says you can appeal against decision after 6th April but for tier one it says no right to appeal.

In all honesty I rather have 28 days review than forever waiting for appeal with no guarantee that visa will be granted.

I prefer to submit whats required and give them their decision in 28 days

May Allah grant you jaza and help you with all your jaiz hajaat Ameen

I think it is important to share our experiences here and to benefit from each others experiences. The intention of most people here is to help others if possible. You can and should get legal advice but sometimes it is confusing and sometimes contradictory. The advice here is impartial as nobody has anything to gain or lose and usually better as people know the subject through first hand experience. If anybody is saved from having to make an appeal or to file a fresh application then that is a just reward. The reasons for rejection are usually to do with ignorance.

Salams,

I have been reading this thread for many months and I have been keeping up with people’s timelines even though I did not apply from Pakistan. I applied for my husband’s visa in a European country at the beginning of January (thinking it would be quicker(!)) and so far I have had no update. It has been very difficult at times and patience does pay off. I have entered my 23rd week and I have escalated a few times during the last few months but all I get back in “visa under consideration” – which is a very frustrating answer. I am requesting duas from you guys, I really don’t know if I will hear back within the 24 weeks which is supposed to be the maximum timeframe? I have rang the embassy number a few times, get put on hold and a standard “still being processed” answer follows. For those of you waiting, it is hard but patience is a virtue and something I am constantly reminding myself whilst going through this test.

Do they have to respond within 24 weeks? I can wait another week but I am concerned if I do not chase, I will get nothing.
