Interesting question

Hi Geeks,

In terms of skilled immigration and family settlement point of view which of the following is more favorable for non natives?

1:- Australia
2:- UK

This is a bit irrelavant; but I think still considerable for this forum.

Cheers,
Zia-ul-Hassan

Might that depend upon the skills that are possessed?

If you have a higher salary: UK

If you have more work experience: OZ

For instance I will take 2 more years for work experience to qualify for OZ

But I earn a decent salary so I am good for UK (HSMP)

I have got 10 years experience and working in Australia since last 4 years. I was just curious what the difference will be in terms of settling and earning , if I decide to move UK.
NB- I hav got theoretical idea of UK IT job market, but don't now practical situation there.

I am contracting at the moment @ good hourly rate.
