Hi all.
First post here, although for the last few weeks, this forum - and its members! - have been an invaluable help to me (British Citizen) and my wife (non-EU).
My question is below. If it has been answered before, someone please simply direct me to the answer (then this post can be removed).
My wife has a degree (BSc Hons) from the University of Mauritius and is about to apply to NARIC for
(1) Statement of Comparability (SoC) and
(2) English Language Assessment (ELA).
But for NARIC to offer the ELA, the degree has to be deemed equivalent to a UK Bachelor's degree, presumably by obtaining the SoC first.
Should she apply for only the SoC first, then if her degree is equivalent, apply for the ELA afterwards?
If she applies for both (1) & (2) together, but her degree is not given equivalence, will they be unable to offer her an ELA and will we have lost our fee?
I know the ELA fee is only 46 pounds but I would like to know. If anyone can advise us, that would be greatly appreciated.
