Reading the above I'm gonna give them a call in 2 weeks time also .. not going to bother with the enquiry service ...
Think they like responding when £££ is being spent
make sure when you call you got following details handy exactly in same order:

applicant name
applicant email
what type of visa
gwf number

also you can only call between 8am to 4pm pakistani time so till 12pm uk.
thanks

You should get it instantly. Remember to handwrite it on the front page of the VAF4A, the paper print out of your online application.

Got the MP to email a second time and also sent a fax including the determination letter and a cover letter this monday. No response from the fax but this is what the MP received:

Thank you for your email correspondence of 8 June on behalf of Mr Ahmed of ......., about his wife, Mrs..., who has appealed against the decision to refuse her Entry Clearance to come to the UK.

As advised in my email correspondence of 8 May, our Visa Section in Islamabad has received Mrs .....'s appeal determination, but further enquiries are necessary. These enquiries remain outstanding and I apologise for the continued delay.

I will contact you again by the end of September to advise you of the progress of the case.

Seriously? Anyone have any ideas on what to do next because this one application has dragged on for almost 2 years. Beyond a joke. Almost considering just reapplying.

I don't understand if your appeal was granted in January have they asked for your wife's passport?

Not yet. I don't understand what checks they are doing they had all the evidence at the hearing and it's not a new application.

No difference who pays and where it's completed
Just make sure that it's written on the front page of the online application form print out and if you like also print the confirmation and put it with the bundle

@phara

No phara the form doesn't generate anything ...
The nhs reference number you get via email you manually write on the front of the printed online application form vaf4a
