As far as I am aware, it is 6 months statements. To sponsor my spouse to come to UK, I will use cash savings of £62500, but the bank doesn't provide monthly statements for savings account. Is it ok if I take a letter from bank stating that I have £62500 in the account? Or does it need to be statements?
No, if she has not been in the UK as your Tier 1 dependent, she cannot apply in that category. She needs to apply for FLR(M) (Click) once you are married and before her fiance visa expires.I read on gov.uk that she will need to apply as dependent of Tier1General, because I came to UK on T1G and then settled. Is this true? Below is the link:

Not if you are relying on savings. If I sponsor my fiancé to UK and then she will apply to extend visa, does this require me to be employed? I am not employed but have enough savings (in 6 figures).
