MN1 form - 12 week baby

Hi all - thanks for helping out with my queries

I was granted ILR a week ago - I have a 12 week baby, born in the UK who can now be Registered via MN1 form - Section 1 (3)

Having read the guidance notes and having gone through the form itself, I cannot help but wonder the requirements around Referees - specifically the first one!

For a 12 week baby, how do I get a teacher, dentist, health visitor to provide a reference?
I spoke to my GP who is willing but I realise they're not on the "approved" list
I am yet to speak with the health visitor but she can easily refuse as she's only visited us once!

Also, for photograph on the Referees page itself - would I need to take a photograph of a 12 week baby?

The general experience reported in this forum is a GP will still be accepted as a professional referee.
The referee is to be someone acting in a professional capacity for a child, here not a social or personal capacity.

Here is photo guidance for a child under 1 year old.

Photographic rules are relaxed in the following cases:

• where children are over 1 and under 6 years old, we don’t need their mouths closed and eyes looking at the camera;
  infants less than 12 months old must have an image that is a good likeness: we don’t need their eyes open and mouth closed, and have also waived the template check requirement for babies

Referees I used are

1. Health Visitor - Usually they will do it for free and wont refuse. As they are the ones who knows the baby well. Else you can ask your midwife who does the checks for you and the baby.

2. Any of your British friend , neighbor etc

Photograph - we took in the Snappy Snaps. Yes int he MN1 form you need to stick it.

Hey - I have another query regarding Section 6 - Biometric enrollment

Surely, from 6.1 to 6.16 the form is asking about the applicant, right? i.e. my 12 week old baby - in whose case it should be "NA"?

Leave blank, if child didn't have any Biometric card issued.
