HSMP rejected on earnings, need advice

Post by macal » Sun Oct 21, 2007 10:01 am

Dear All,

I applied to HSMP in August but unfortunately got rejected, there was some issue with my address but eventually around end of September got my package, I was rejected because my salary certificate showed an earning which was less than what my bank statements showed.
I earn in a country with no tax system, so the only proofs that I submitted were salary certificate from my employer and bank statements, my salary certificate does not show any kind of bonusses that I got during the period of points claimed, but they are shown in my bank statements, and this was the reason quoted by the case worker, excess amount.
I don't know what to do, please advice. I might have made mistake but applying another time means spending 400 pounds again.

Please advice...... (I'm desperate to move out of here)

If you had included the bounus in your earnings to claim the points than a letter from the employer should have been included. If that was the case than any review would be futile and you should go for a fresh application. If that was not the csae than there is a fairly good chance of favourable outcome of review. What is exact language of refusal letter?
