Registered with HMRC three months prior to extension

Post by jafersadeq » Tue Jul 07, 2015 2:20 am

Dear Members,

In the guidance 6th April 2015, on page 28 of 74, you will read:

Section C : registered when you apply for the extension:
provide the specified evidence to show that you were registered as self-employed, or as a director in the three months before you apply. The evidence must be dated within 3 months of making the application to extend your leave.

And on page 25 of 74, you will read:
C. On a date no earlier than three months prior to the date of application, you were: a) registered with HMRC as self-employed, or b) registered with Companies House as a director of a new or an existing business.

what is the meaning of the above condition? , How to do that?
Best Regards,

If you are a director of a company then you can provide a CAR from companies house.
and if you are self employed then you must provide you last year self assessment as well as a letter from HMRC.
So verily, with every difficulty, there is relief.
