visa received after a long battle of 2 years!!! Alhamdulilah

My time line

first application sent: 02/2013
refused: 5/2013
appeal allowed:11/2013
refused again on the same grounds: 06/14
appeal again within 10 days
appeal withdrawn in july/2014 n re-apply on the same day
application returned as invalid in aug 2014 as appeal in process
resent application on next day
but refused again in oct 2014 stating that i have overstayed more than 28 days
even though my application from july2014 was valid application n i also mention when i resent my application that i have withdrawn my appeal.
later on i sent a reconsideration request to HO but no responce then sent JR notice (PAP) but still no responce
in FEB proceed JR n High court give 21 days to HO to give their responce.
Atlast 8th march 2015 Treasury solicitor sent settlement letter to reconsider my application n on next day i received my visa n documents(Alhamdulilah)


Now i have one question that i did,nt received my degree n documents which i sent with my first application in feb 2013
i only received my BRP + passport n latest documents. Also my expire passports are punched , why did HO punch expire passports?

Congratulations on getting your visa after long struggle. The answer to your question regarding HO punching your expired passports would be that they may have wanted to identify the document as expired or invalid, however, in my opinion it doesnt really matter as they're expired anyway.

I have been in the same situation for nearly two years. My timeline is as follows:

1st application: nov 2013
Appeal made: dec 2013
2nd application: 3 Jun 2014
appeal rights exhausted: 19 June 2014
2nd application refused: invalid 26 June 2014
3rd application made: 3 July 2014
3rd application refused: 27 July 2014
4th application made: 22 August 2014
app refused: 22 Oct 2014 on the ground that I have been an over stayer
AR application: 11 Nov 2014
AR refused: 14 May 2015
PAP sent: on 8 June 2015

I am still waiting on HO to get back to me. Could you please advice on how did you go about PAP after they did not respond to it.
