And shall we submit online application after we have collected the bank statements etc and every document is ready in our hand or we can submit online application earlier? And what will the date of submission of application as the documents are supposed to be sent to sheffield? Earlier the date of application used to be when biometrics were done at VAC. Thanks
-just write it with a pen the GWF number should be on your account on VISA4UK
-yes submit once u have all your documents ready
-date of submission is still bio metrics, you submit online, pay the fee, book bio metric appointment
-once your spouse has attended their appointment and handed in passport they should forward their documents to you asap
-once u have all documents submit them to Sheffield

Can someone please tell me, do I submit the supporting documents after my wife has submitted her passport at Gerrys and had her Biometric's done or can the supporting documents be sent anytime after the online application has been completed? Also do Gerrys give any documentation that will need to be sent as part of the supporting documets?

Thanks everyone.

Emailed them to confirm the date of employment letter. They confirmed it doesn't matter but ideally within 1 month

Below is there reply.

"With regards to your query, there is no restriction the date of the
document However, we advise you to provide a latest document(i.e. no more
than 1 month prior to the date of your application)"

Many thanks for your prompt reply!
I am only worried about the date of 'Employment Confirmation Letter', because this letter was dated a week after online submission. Cover letters also dated after online submission date.
Thanks

Hi can someone please tel me how an online application will work. Does my spouse in Pak need to fill this in or can I do it here.
Also slight problem my employer had wrote on my contract that from July 14-July15 I have earnt £24822, he hasn't wrote how much my annual salary is as that is only £18,300 the difference has been earned through overtime. But it doesn't state the £18,300 on my letters anywhere do u think this is ok.?

I think that employment letter should state things like basic annual salary (before overtime), date of employment, position etc. If your basic is £18,300 then it I think getting the employer to write that you get are guaranteed overtime of X hours per month may help.

But if your contract starts 14/7/2015 then how could you have earned £24,822. Do you mean 14/7/2014? If it is a new job then I think they like you to have been working there for at least 6 months.

Whatever your employer writes must be corroborated by the payslips, including the amount of time that you are guaranteed overtime each month, or week.

Salaam Abdul..
Yes the figure matches up to my payslips. And the overtime I am entitled to is unlimited.
