getting a work permit and visa

Hi can anyone help???? my daughter has been living in Spain with her boyfriend for the past 3 years, they have just got married in Gibraltar and my daughter is now expecting a baby, she wants to come home to scotland to live near her family. The problem is her husband is from Argentina, how can he get a visa and a work permit to live in the UK???? Can he come here and then apply??? Please can someone help as my daughter is getting very worried that her husband won't be there at the birth of her first child.

If the marriage is considered legal in Gibraltar, then your daughter's husband should be able to apply for the EEA Family Permit, free of charge, at the nearest British Embassy.

It is comparitively one of the easier visas to apply for.
