Application: Tier 1 Dependent Child Born in UK

Date of application: 12th March 2015
I used the online service to pay the fees and submit the application: https://visas-immigration.service.gov.u ... dant-child
Date of application received by Home Office: 13th March 2015
Date of Payment debited: N/A (it was paid online before submitting the application 1607£)
Acknowledgement letter received: Never
Biometric letter received: 14th March 2015
Biometrics enrolled: 16th March 2015
Date of approval: 21st March 2015
Documents received on: 23rd March 2015
BRP received on: 25th March 2015

Overall the process appeared to be straightforward and efficient (everything done in 13 days!!).

4. Latest council tax bill (in joint name with main applicant)
5. Main applicant's passport and BRP copies (not original and not attested.... this is not required)
6. Main applicant's sponsorship letter

For my son:
1. His original passport (nothing else as he was already granted PBS dependant visa before and hence we had provided birth certificate at that time)

Applied on her own (Main applicant (me) have now become British Citizen, was originally on Tier 1)

Applied online and then posted the print out with supporting documents

The whole process took about 50 days - was pretty slow.
