Sarah,
No need to worry or get panic, what I got now, currently it's applicable to spouse of tier 4 applicant only.
We should get ready as govt cannot control EU immigration so every year they are tightening Non EU immigration, first English level then income threshold ,immigration process increase from 3-5 years, increasing visa fee, life in UK tests, nhs surcharge and putting more conditions on each level of immigration so we need to get ready and aware our friends and family who wants to bring their spouses from pak should apply as soon as possible .
Hope it address all concern and close this topic.
Let's get back to May applicant and hopefully hear more decisions of May in next two days.
Wasalam

Some people don't receive a processed email and actually just directly get contacted by gerrys
Have come across many such cases on these forums
So dw in shaa Allah you should be hearing something soon most likely from gerrys.

If you paid for the text service then you would get a text to advise to collect documents
It was rs 200 when you submitted they would have charged
I pray to Allah swt that you hear back soon and the news is good :)

You can do but there is a 50/50 chance that the documents could or couldn't have reached lahore gerrys yet
Depends how local you are
When did you get the response when you requested stating it's been processed ?

Yes if you take your wife's ID card, receipt and a letter drafted by her to say she authorises you her husband to collect the passport on her behalf then they would allow you to collect it.
Make sure you take your ID also

I can't say 100% that it's possible to collect without a letter as they need something to hold in records that the applicant requested the documents to be released to 3rd party ... this is to cover their backs in case something goes wrong or
missing

It doesn't have to be a professional letter
It just needs to be a handwritten letter confirming that she authorises you to collect her passport on her behalf
