No email of processed is.this normal went.to gerrys yes no package there applied 22nd april
I would call the enquiry line and verify the status to ensure that the status of it being processed is correct and if so why hasn't the documents been sent to VAC as of yet ...
They normally do send the documents out within a couple of days which in your case does look like it's gone over the time limit
I called them they said it was processed last week
Called them just know

It's a waiting game in that case ...
But that is strange they have taken a while to send documents back
Don't worry In Shaa Allah you will get them back soon
Most likely now it will be after eid so Tuesday

Thanks to The Rahman, my wife's Visa has been granted.

It has been 3 years since i married and i have a 7 month old daughter who is in Pakistan. I applied for my wifes visa on December 2013 and we had to wait until 24th Sep 2014 before we were told the visa was refused.

We then had a daughter and after research n research i realised i could apply for my daughter's British Citizenship, so i did that in Feb 2015 and after waiting 5 months, it was approved this month.

During this time i applied for my wife's Visa on the 24th april 2015 and today my wife collected her passport and she has a bisa.

I tell you this, because through all this i did countless duas, negged The Lord and first time it was refused. I did not stop, i did more dua and more dua. And Allah decided it was time. And he acceptes my duas. So not only am i closer to Allah through my duas, but Allah has given me ease.

Please please brothers and sisters, never ever lose hope in Allah, He will help you, trust 100%. I am sooo happy and my strress has gone, all because of Allah.

May Allah bless you all

Salaams, I asked for status update on my application yesterday and received this response.

"We understand that you would like to know about the current status of your
visa application. I have tracked the status and found that a decision on
your application has been delayed whilst further enquiries are being
conducted. Your visa application centre or the entry clearance officer will
contact you once a decision has been made or, if necessary, during the
consideration of your application."

How long does it take for these further enquiries to be conducted? Also what does it actually mean?

We submitted documents on 23rd April, I hope my husband's visa is granted this time, it's our 2nd time applying.
please make dua for us in this month of Ramadan

Brother what u understood was correct. Initially when we submitted case, officer at VAC said u don't need hospital birth certificate, so we didn't submit it. We had the photocopy at the time. Now embassy is asking for original. That's y I was confused and posted on this forum, just to see if anyone else had similar experiences.
If you had just sent the NADRA birth of certificate then they would not normally have asked for the Hospital Certificate, but since you sent them the photocopy now then also want original. So you now have no option but to comply and give them the Hospital Certificate as well. Since you have lost the original you have to get a new one made and get a letter from hospital to say this is a duplicate of the original which is a true copy of the original as the original has been lost by the customer. This duplicate needs to be same as the photocopy that you submitted already.

Its good news that they have started looking at 27th April to 1st May applications, and hopefully next week some of these would be getting their visa.

I know the embassy is closed tomorrow and Monday
But since the government of pakistan has declared a 5 day holiday starting tomorrow until Tuesday would that mean embassy would be closed on Tuesday also now ?

If the government has announced official holiday on Tuesday as well, then they would open on Wednesday.

Here is my timelime line:
Applied on 14-04-2015
04-07-2015: it is yet to be assessed by an Entry Clearance Officer (ECO).
04-07-2015 ring them and was told that status is in progress
08-07-15: found that a decision on your application has been delayed whilst further enquiries are being conducted
08-07-15 I rang UKVI and escalated my spouse application and got reply on 15-07-15
15-07-15: 'Initial checks/pre assessment completed. Application is in Entry Clearance Officer’s queue for further assessment.
So Based on my experience, I do not think it will take longer than a week to complete further enquiries checks but not sure how long will take them more to process the application. I have also seen that there are quite number of people that are getting this status.

I am totally of my mind now .......... Anyways I pray that Allah j grant us saber so we can play along with them with their waiting game.

Anyways happy Eid to everyone in advance may Allah j grant our prayers ameen

Hell no. I am a 26th May applicant and myself looking at mid August to hear from them. You are most probably looking at September if not later. But weirder things have happened.

Salaam all,

Is any able to tell me how to track a visa status.

I use this site https://www.vfsglobal.org

I enter the application reference number and my wife's date of birth and when I submit it says operation failed.

Is this normal? Does it take a while for it to update or is there another website to use?

My timeline is:

Online submission: 08/07/15
Mirpur Bio: 13/07/15

Thanks

If they are going to go beyond the 12 weeks then they should at least inform via an email.

There is no way to track your application except through emailing ukvi or giving them a call. If you mean you use the GWF number then that wont work. They dont give the application reference number anymore to track the application.

Email ukvi and give them your gwf and the applicants DOB and you will hear from them in one working day.
