help on eu application as partners

Post by hk79 » Sat Jul 18, 2015 10:34 pm

hi everyone,

need some information on applying for eu4fam in Ireland.

I live in Ireland with my partner and daughter, they are both British citizens.

we are not married but living together here in ireland.

I know I can apply under EU Directive 2004/8/ as unmarried partner under article 3 as beneficiary.

but my main question is that, 1. As we a child together, do we still have to prove 2 years of being in duly tested relationship?

we can prove that we are living together and my partner is exercising her treaty right.

please help as any info will be of great help.

They insist on proof of a relationship that has lasted 2 years, but with a child and everything I believe you could make a case that you are in a Durable relationship.

thanks obie for your response, we don't really have much proof of living together prior to coming to Ireland. we lived together but everything was in my partners name. but we do have photos and we are currently engaged. so don't know if this will be enough to submit my application for the temporary stamp 4.
