I'm applying for my HSMP application before my age reaches 30 on 04.01.2008, and I understand that my application should reach there before that date to give me 10 points on age (28 or 29).

Now do I also have to apply for EC before my age reaches 30, or it doesn't matter?

Please answer...I don't have much time.
