do i need pro-rata calculation?

Hi everyone,

I spent my last 15 months in two countries.

7 months in Turkey --- 08/2006 - 02/2007
8 months in Belgium -- 03/3007 - 10/2007

it seems claiming only 7 months in Turkey already is giving me the max point in previous earnings section. that means i dont need any pro-rata calculation in my application.

what i would like to know is that if i only claim my first 7 months without sending anything related to Belgium, can i still get the max point?

is there any problem with sending only 7 months payslips instead of 12?

Also, is it vaid to start my claimed period in Aug-2006 if i apply in Nov-2007? in nov-2007, Aug-2006 month is still included in the last 15 months prior to application?

You will have to send 12 months of pay slips, so you can send the seven from Turkey and then 5 from belgium, and you will only be calculated from the pro-rata amount on the Turkish pay.

There is no problem in claiming for August, as, as you say, you can claim for any 12 in the last 15 months.

but here in hsmp guidance, it says We will assess your gross earnings before tax over a total period of "up to 12" months out of the 15 months immediately prior to your application.

what would happen if i was unemployed after february?

so i can claim 7 months period... that is what i am asking..

7 months total is already 12500+ and this gives me max point 45 in BAND C

please be careful while reading questions because without good understanding of question ,you can easily make people confused.
