British Naturalisation - English Language Requirement

Post by mprmani » Mon Aug 17, 2015 2:09 pm

All,

Please help me to understand about the English Language requirement for British Naturalisation. I was reading the AN_Booklet_May_2015.

I have the following to prove that I am eligible and meet English Requriement, but please review and confirm.

1. I have passed the Life in the UK Test in 2012 for my ILR
2. I have Statement of Comparability and English Assessment from UKNARIC. I have finished my Masters in Indian University.

Is it enough or do I need any more information to meet English Requirement because some of has mentioned that they got a letter from University, but is it required.

Please Help.

As per Guide, I can submit my original degree with any one of the following. So I got point 1, 2 and SoC but no letter from Uni. Is that enough, has any one applied with this scenario, please let me

1. A print out from the points-based calculator, with the equivalent level of your degree and the level of English

2. An English language Assessment (ELA) from UK NARIC (this will also show us that UK NARIC are content that your qualification is equivalent to a UK degree)

3. A Statement of Comparability (SoC) from UK NARIC confirming your qualification is comparable to a UK degree, plus an official letter from your university with your name, the title of the degree, and that the qualification was taught in English.
