Hi All,
I had applied general visa for my parents under “UK General Visitor Visa” from India – New Delhi and it has been refused for both with the below mention justifications. I am planning (and wish) to reapply for the Visa again for my parents. Regarding this I am requesting you all to guide us and build our confidence please, with expertise direction of yours.
I have following concerns and looking for your input (based on refusal letter content & our background) please.
1.) Should I reapply for the Visa now OR It is better in our case to wait for 6 months to systematise my parent’s bank statements.
2.) What document should I attach to prove that my parents receive cash money from me and my brother for their living? Also what document my mother should attach to prove that some money my father gives to her for basic needs etc.
3.) My parents are staying in a house on my Mother’s name only, what document should I attach for my father as his name is not in the registry document? Also the deed / registry document is in Hindi (local language of UP, India), is it acceptable document as house proof in the current language?
4.) What document / cover note to submit explain inconsistent cash amount deposit to my father’s bank account?
Please guide us on what we need to be careful about documents when reapply for the visa.

The Decision
You have not provided satisfactory evidence of your personal and financial circumstances with your application form. You state in your visa application that you are retired and in receipt of Rs. 10,000 (GBP 100) per month. In section 68 you state that you receive Rs. 10,000 (GBP 100) every month but do not confirm from whom or provide satisfactory evidence to demonstrate that you are in receipt of a regular income. I further note that you do not provide satisfactory evidence to demonstrate your ties with India e.g. property / land deeds in your name, which compel your return after your 2 months, visit to the UK. I must look at all your circumstances when I assess your application for a visit visa. Without the evidence we asked for, I am not satisfied that you plan to leave the UK at the end of your visit or that you are genuinely seeking entry as a general visitor for a period not exceeding 6 months.
As evidence of your financial circumstances, you provide a bank statement from the bank, showing a closing balance of Rs. 38,900 (GBP 389) on 07/08/2013. Rs. 35,000 (GBP 350) of the balance has been entered on your a/c after 01/08/2013. This does not match your stated income of Rs. 10,000 (GBP100) every month and deposits do not seems to be consistent with the history of a/c. I further note that the bank statement do not demonstrate that you are in receipt of regular income as stated. I am therefore not satisfied that you have presented an accurate picture of your financial circumstances here in India. I am not satisfied that you plan to leave the UK at the end of your visit.
Your right of appeal is limited to the grounds referred to in section 84(1)(c) of the nationality, immigration and asylum act 2002(

==== Our Background ====
My father was working for small private company and now retired with no pension and my mother is house wife with no income.
My parents (based in Varanasi, India) are having two children me (in UK on assignment) and my elder brother (based in Delhi, India). I and my brother take care for the living and expenditure for our united family.
Whenever we meet we give some cash money to our parents for their living which can be treated as on an average of Rs. 10,000 to my father and Rs. 4,000 to my mother per month. Also for house cost etc my father gives my mother Rs. 4,000 on an average every month. We don’t have any proof for these financial transactions as we mostly give them in cash as and when we meet.
During the visa planning I asked my father to deposit some of his cash savings in his bank account which was circa Rs. 35,000 and that is now being highlighted as problem and inconsistent. What to do to prove that this money belongs to my father and it is his money from his savings.
My parents have one own house in Varanasi, which is on my Mother’s name only, and deed / property document is in Hindi language, so we have not shown this due to fact that it is not on both person name and it is not in English.

I am very much in stress due to this as I really wish to bring our parents here and make them feel special because today whatever I and my brother are only because of their scarifies for us and this refusal made us helpless. I request you all to guide and help us.
