I feel they are using new strategies to reduce the queue.
Are you related to the home secretary?Papafaith wrote:I submitted the HSMP application (Out of country) for a friend on the first of November, today HSMP sent a mail that decision has been reached on the application, waiting for docs and letter. Is it that fast now? The reference number is 029***
i dont think reallyl have a problem with the kind of selection that you suggested, the only problem is that surely there a lot of 'easier or straightforward cases' in may/june/july so they should be assigning these instead of cases recieved in november. i also have the feeling taht the HO are quite happy moving at the pace that they are moving afterall this is 'controlled' migrationtry-one wrote:well.....
If I was the manager for the HSMP program and I got to a situation were I had too many applications and a lot of presure then I would asign a team of senior case workers to look at the application page where the people list the claim, then they would choose those straight forward cases (for example someone claiming 150 points) give that to the trainees and then they could easily deal with it. Normal cases or cases too close to the passing mark will be dealt by a normal team....
I really don't know what is going on but some sort of strategy is beign implemented, that's for sure.....
In the meantime I will keep eating my fingernails and trying to think about something else....If I can...
Ever think that may be another reason why this is happening? In other words, to reduce the number of applicants, the wait is just long enough so that those who are looking to immigrate (Not necessarily to the UK) will be enticed by another country's program. With a very long wait, all that's left in the UK queue will be those who were only or mostly interested in UK immigration.Regarding the time issue, it also benefits them much more to go slowly, though at the rate at which they currently are processing, it will soon make much more sense to apply for a Canadian or Australian immigration process. One main reason why a lot of us applied for this is simply because it takes, or took a much shorter period than most others.
