Expired IELTS

Post by pencillin » Thu Nov 01, 2007 12:38 pm

Hi,
My plan was to send my hsmp application sometime in early december, but since I'm not going to get my certificate paper before late december - early january, I'll only be able to apply around 10 january 2008.
I have two questions:
Do you think the new tier system would take off prior to April and/or the current HSMP will be suspended (like what happened in 2006)?

Do you think it's ever possible for my IELTS certificate to be accepted a month after expiration? I had my IELTS on 10 december 2005, do you think I have a chance not getting refused upon this?
I would have taken another exam but the problem is that I phoned all british council offices in my country and the nearest available slot is in 15 january :( :(

What do you suggest?

IELTS will not be accepted after expiration.

There is a chance of suspension, we just don't know for sure.
