Hey guys,

The way the ECO calculated my pay was to add up all the months, and multiply by 2, if the ECO did this now with my pay under category A, it would be fine. But I don't think they will do that because it says:
Where the person is in salaried employment – they must have been paid throughout the period of 6 months prior to the date of application at a level of gross annual salary which equals or exceeds the level relied upon in the application. Therefore the figure used towards the requirement will be the lowest level of annual salary received during the 6 month period.
The lowest level of salary was in April 2015 at £1302, after that it went up to £1514 for 3 months, then £1890 for 1 month, and next month should be £1911. I just don't want them to say that we calculated based on the first few months and say you don't meet the requirement.

In any case, I am really upset because I want to be able to apply in October for my wife, and even though I am getting over £22000 per year since this month, my previous months since April will have issues because I bought annual leave again .

So my question is, can I apply via Category B if I have been with the same employer for over 12 months. Because I now get £22937 per year in wages, and if I add up all my gross pay from October 2014->September 2015 (12 months?), it adds up to 18,721 hopefully. If I do do this, what answers do I put in 3.12-3.22 on Appendix 2 form? I have got a new job, same department and company in August, and have had increments and pay increases before that.

yes i have reffered to FM-SE as u mentioned.Just to make it short, i want to tell u that i am planing to reapply visa next month sep2015 and i need ur help and advice about this.I am working for a big security company and i do 40hrs per week.I am working for this company for more than 5 years and they pay me every month.I am still employed of this security company.

So here is my sitauion and i seek ur advice ,should i reapply or not?

I am filing my own limited company tax return from feb2014 to jan2015 next week
Total dividend earning in this time period is £2500

i calculated my salary from my security job from feb2014 till jan 2015 which is total £16400
so grand total of earnig is £18900
Here are my documents list for financial requrement

12 month salary slips from my security job from feb2014 till jan 2015
personal bank statement showing salary credited from feb2014 till jan 2015
My employes letter stating i am working for them more than 5 years

Dividend voucher from my accountant of £2500 coving period from feb2014 till jan 2015
current appointment report of my limited company
certificate of incorporation of my own limited company
CT600 from feb2014 till jan 2015
Business bank statement from feb2014 till jan 2015
personal bank stattement showing dividend is being transfered from feb2014 till jan 2015
SA 302 from of last 3 years

so i will claim total earning of £18900

please advice me ,
m i on right track now?
any documents missing?
Am i fulfilling financial requrement ?
Am i using right time period which is from feb2014 till jan 2015

i will also raise this query to other member of forum, but i want to get ur valualble advice.
please help me, i will b thankful to you always
Dear sha373

Salaam

Sorry my reply to your question is late.

In my last message to you, I think I asked you if your job in security is through your limited company.

From what you have written, I am guessing that you as an individual are directly employed - the point being your security company employer pays your NI and tax to HMRC.

Although you meet the minimum financial requirement, I'm not sure how your sources of income can be combined using cat A and cat F - director of a limited company, given the time lag. Cat A requires you to provide your latest payslips, in addition to the last one being no older than 28 days at the time of application. Cat F - director of a limited company - is for a complete financial year.

The table in 4.1.2 says these sources can be combined. In reality though, I don't know how you would go about doing this, as the time periods are significantly apart. I.e. if you were to use the period spanning Feb 2104 to Jan 2015, you could use your dividend income from your limited company, but could you combine it with your Cat A income given the pay in this period is quite old?

I am hoping there is a way you can bring the two income souces together. I am however in no way qualified to tell you how. I applied solely under Cat F and no very little about Cat A, and am therefore unable to provide you with the guidance you need.

I would however say that you seek professional advice from a trusted source before you apply again.

This message is GOOD and BAD!

Good, a decision has been made!
Bad, now you have to wait until YOU OPEN THE PASSPORT TO SEE IF YOU HAVE BEEN SUCCESSFUL OR NOT.

No point asking anyone on here if it's good or bad, we don't know.

We might be able to give you a slight clue if you post a list of all the documents you submitted.
