Salaam everyone as your aware my case got refused just wanted to ask how do.we get an mp involved ive already sent my appeal but ive heard on this forum that if you involve my it gets looked at faster is that right ??!! Can anyone help...

You need to do two things:

1. Send an official complaint to complaints@homeoffice.gsi.gov.uk and give all you case details and why you were refuse and that you believe that the ECO did not do his job properly as your results are clearly online

2. Go to an open surgery or book an appointment with your local mp and tell him your story and also take all relevant evidence and he will contact ukvi and if successful they can get you your visa in two weeks inshallah

I'm going to see my MP on Friday inshallah and hopefully everything goes well as I have already appealed and submitted an official complaint

Can anyone who received the processed email on 01-sep-2015 tell me did you receive email or message from Gerry’s to collect your passport?

We also received the processed email on 01-sep-2015 but not had any email or text from Gerry’s office Mirpur.

my wife is starting her new job on the 28th sept. if she leaves her old job a few weeks before her new job starts will this affect my appeal?

what was reason for refusal?

my appeal notice is 23rd November, my wife is to start her new job on 28th sept, if she was too leave her old job a few weeks before would that affect my appeal.bkz she will be classed as unemployed. for few weeks.

I was refused because my wife has 2 jobs and from second job she was refunded tax back which was shown on one months wage slip but paid in with the following months pay so wage slip and bank statement for that month did not match, however I appealed with it an attachement clarifying it was the managers mistake.. also attached p45.. full employment history from HMRevenue including bank statement showing the cheques and sums paid in.. my wife spoke to the local mp who said he will be willing to help not sure if its to late for that.. why was you refused?

So when u initially applied didn't u mention all this?? And i was refused because 6th payslip was not reflecting in bank statement they also calculated my 28 day theory with biometric date not online application... So I have sent a recent bank statement as well as a new p60

My husband spoke to his friend who works in BHC in some country other than Pak
According to him,they have repriortise their targets so they resolved lot of April/may pending cases and now they will process both old and june applicants in parallel and from tomorrow june applicant will see progress.
if this info is correct than we will see progress tomorrow
Otherwise advance sorry as this info is perceived through indirect contacts.

I applied from karachi my wife recieved email on 01/09/15 she went to gerrys office next day they told her to wait until the fone call she came back home and after 4hours received text and fone call she went again the same day and collected her passport..

Is it still ok for complaint if on my refusal letter it said could not verify online by the eco the leter by cambridge they wrote that on the day of examintion a photo was taken of by husband but due to technical fault it was not online for verifyfor the ukvi they hav privided the leter and have written that they can ask for manual. So can i still complaint as it was cambridge that effed up ????? Would like your advice onthis please tanks

See here's the thing Cambridge English are washing their hands of their KET customers by blaming the test centres whereas my investigations lead me to believe that the problem lies in their software as its more than one test centre having these so called issues.

That's why I got two letters off them one about the issue and the other just simply confirming results and test day photo was taken, so I wouldn't mention this in your complaint BUT this is YOUR decision as the ECO still had the option of the back up procedure he could use but didn't.

So who is you local MP ?
