Spouse visa Gross or Net pay.

Hello Guys,

I am a British citizen and will applying for Spouse visa for my fiancee. So far i get 20,000 per year which covers the financial requirement. My monthly gross pay for the last 8 month is £1770 before any reduction (basic pay). After tax deduction my net pay is £1480 for July, £1600 for August of which shows on bank statement.

1)I understand I can apply under Category A with 6 payment slip also reflecting on bank statement

2)So are they going to calculate the lower salary net pay £1480 x 12 = 17,760
or
Gross pay £1770 x 12 = 21,240

3) Also do I have to show after paying bill that there at least £120 per week.

If u r with current employer for more than 6 months than Category A

As long as your gross pay hasn't dropped below £1550 in the past 6 months you can apply under category A and should be fine. Make sure you get 6 months of bank statements, and a letter from your employer. The latest one of each thing needs to be no older than 28 days before your online application date (NOT biometric date).
