Hi all,
I'm new to this so please excuse me if I'm not clear. I am an asylum seeker who came to the UK in 2000 as a student and my visa expired in 2002 and I over stayed and seeked asylum in 2009. They refused me at first and heading to the appeal date my witness turned me down and my lawyer advised me to withdraw from the appeal. I then re submitted my application in 2012 August on the basis of right to family life through my wife who I have since married this year. We haven't heard a decision ever since from the HO even through our local MP. We submitted our marriage certificate in March this year and never got an acknowledgement that they received it. The last letter we got from the HO after we inquired through our MP stated that I could go back to my country and apply for entry clearance. This is something me and my wife are considering. By the way my wife is a british citizen.... I may need to go back and apply my spouse visa back home but am afraid they might refuse it on the basis of my asylum claim. HELP!!
