Applying tier5-temporary worker twice?

Hi,

I am currently on Tier5- Government authorized exchange program (Temporary Worker) , which has time limit of 12 months. My visa expires on 15-December-2015.
Under the same sub-category ,it is mentioned that maximum stay period for researchers is 24 months while for worker is 12 months.

If I manage to get COS from the university as an researcher , Can I apply again for the same Tier5 -Govt Authorized Exchange category once again? If yes can I apply again for 24 months or just 12 months , as I already been here for 12 months under the same category ?

Hi,

I was on the the same type of 12 month visa. I applied for an extension which they said is granted in same cases. The maximum allowed on this via is another 12 months. I did it through an agency, had to go back to Australia for about a month and then came back for another 12 months.
