Employment Related. Q.1.48 - 1.53 & the Guidance notes.

Hi Guys,

I was just filling up AN form and was thinking how to answer these questions.

This is what is written in Guidance about Q 1.48 - 1.53

" " 1.48- 1.53 You must provide details of your current and previous employment during
the past 10 years
If you do not pay income tax through PAYE you must demonstrate that you have
discharged your obligations towards the H.M. Revenue & Customs, by attaching a
Self Assessment Statement of Account. " "

My main source of income has always been my Employment and my employer has been paying my tax through PAYE system. I have all the P60s. Since last few years I am paying my tax on Self employment as well. I am going to mention in the employment history but do you guys think i should attach "Self Assessment Statement of Account with my application or Not as they have mentioned in the Guidance " If you not pay through PAYE".

Secondly Should i just tick *An employee in Q1.49 or Tick other two as well. like * Self employed * Director. Although other two are also relevant but my main source of income in Employment and also the space is available for one source only in Q.1.50 and 1.51.

Suggest include the tax statment.
If you have self-employed income HO will want evidence you have paid on that element of your income as well as the PAYE (paid via HMRC) from main income.

Suggest tick all boxes that apply to you in Q1.49
You can explain the details in the 'additional information' section of the form if no space in that employment section.
