Settlement-wife:Application has not yet been assessed by ECO

Post by S N J » Fri Sep 25, 2015 9:07 am

Hi,

I'm a newbie to this forum. I've got a question in regard to UKVI terms.

I've got a reply today saying ' and still and found that your application has not yet been assessed by an Entry Clearance Officer (ECO).'

Then "your application is still processing and waiting to be accessed by the Entry Clearance Officer. '

Is this mean my application hasn't even been touched after all this time? Can anyone please elaborate If I understood correctly? If so, what can I do to make them 'concentrate' on my application?

I submitted & made an online payment on 28.08.15
Biometrics was taken on 02.09.15

Thanks and regards,
S

For the HS, I've asked for a full refund on the Immigration Health Surcharge (IHS).
VAF Armed Forces applicant, a dependent who is exempt from paying the HS under section 38 of the Immigration Act.

After emails back and forth, today's response was "in regards to your escalation, we have received a response from the authority. Please be advised that there are high numbers of IHS refund request on the system at the moment. They will try to do it as soon as possible. Please contact us again in the next 2 weeks if you still not receive it.

Is this mean they agreed and now accepted to pay back my health surcharge?

Regards,

Current official statistics show that 15% of applications submitted in Bangkok are processed in 15 days; 96% within 30 days and 100% within 60 days. According to your post it hasn't been 30 days yet. You'll just have to be patient.
You should also bear in mind that these are likely to be 'working days', not calendar days.
