My partner and I are applying for FLR(M) as unmarried partners really soon.
We have a few queries.
1. My partner, George, receives 13 paychecks a year, not 12 (he gets paid every 28 days). As such, we've calculated every paycheck from Sep 14 - Aug 15, which amounts to a pre-tax annual salary of £7462.16. Is this acceptable? If no, how would they approximate his wage from 6 payslips?
2. I have 6 paychecks from my present company. They amount to a pre-tax salary of £3084.51 for 6 months. Would this be sufficient to approximate a year's wages at £6169.02? My first paycheck with this company coincides with my last paycheck with my old employer (i.e. I have two paychecks for April). How would this be calculated? The first paycheck from my current employer is only £120 but the last paycheck from my previous employer is £430.48 (so, in April, I earned 550.48).
3. I trained in Caffe Nero for a week in September but subsequently left for a grad job. I have a payslip and a letter from them. The total wage from that is £229.40, pre-tax - how would this be added?
4. Lastly, my invoices from freelancing amount to £4456.
MY TOTAL INCOME for 6 months, including my last paycheck from the old employer and the one week at nero, amounts to: £7488.78
Would my calculations below be correct?
7462.16 + 7488.78 + 4456 = £19,406.94
I'm thoroughly confused. Should I do the same thing my partner did and calculate the exact amount I earned for a year instead?
Any advice would be MUCH appreciated! Thank you
