*** 2 Year Visit Visa for Parents ***

Post by dvadithala » Sun Oct 04, 2015 6:51 pm

Hi Experts,

I currently hold British passport. I'm about to apply for 2 years visit visa for my parents. Which form do I need to use? I've filled a form from this https://www.visa4uk.fco.gov.uk
but it just took my dad's details and asked if my mum is travelling with him but most of the applications was focused on my dad. Although, form asks for my mum's passport details that's it.

1. Is this the right form?

2. Also, please can you share the document list? I'm IT Contractor in London and operate through limited company.

3. What is the healthy balance to show as I wanted to sponsor for everything?

4. I guess taking medical insurance is mandate right? Should I buy in India or here?

Thanks in advance,

Cheers,
Me

Two things...

Two year visit visa still means maximum six months in any 12, and even that would push the envelope to far, think 'visit' rather then 'reside'.

Also you won't get one first off, need a proven history of six month visa's adhered too and abiding by the rules, say 2 or 3 of those.

Thank you for the info. Yes, this will be their second visit.

I'm not sure if I have need to fill two seperate forms or will be it one form? Because current form does ask the applicant that if your spouse is traveling with you. So, shall I fill one more form is this enough? Please help.

For entry clearances, it's one form per applicant. If there are 2 applicants, then it's 2 forms.
