Hi
my child is born in uk and he is more then 5 years is he eligible for 5 year routes
i am so confused because so far i knew if the child born in uk and he is seven he is eligible for 7 year routes but someone told me we can even apply if the child is born in uk and he is 5 years please reply to me because my visa is ending with in next two weeks thanks.

one is student and dependent my wife is student and i am her dependent even my son got dependent visa who is 5

I don't think that you and child may do anything before child is aged 7.

thanks vinny but someone has said and he is a solicitor we can apply for 5 year route under non immigration rules i m so confused dude i don't know what to do whereto go whom to ask please advice me.

Is the 'someone' possibly referring to EU rules as being 'non immigration rules'?

What is the nationality of both parents?

Looks like a feeble attempt to use a child for visa purposes to me.

which kind of reply is it brother its look like offensive we are the parents of the child, which attempt are talking if you can't give advice then don't judge as well thanks anyway.

Not offensive at all. Honest.

Are you are are you not looking to gain ILR/BC because you have had a child whilst both here on visa that does not lead to that and are hoping that having said child will lead to ILR etc for all of you via the 7 year rule which may well not apply (and have underestimated by 2 years anyway)?
