Are corrections to the application form possible?

Post by sputi85 » Wed Oct 07, 2015 10:51 am

Are corrections to the application form possible after it has been sent out?

Hi all,

I just applied for the British Citizenship and realised (with horror) that my last payslips were produced by a different company than I put on the application- it is because my current company is part of a global company and they recently (in April) asked us to re-sign the contract under that company name, therefore the payslips are now produced by the global company...

Should I notify HO? Are corrections like this possible? The application was sent out today.

Thank you all very much in advance- really worried!

Hanna

If your employer is still the same, no need to do anything. Once you have acknowledgement letter and your case reference, you could write to the caseworker with a brief explanation if you wish.

Thank you for your reply!

Officially, the employer is now the global company, so it is a different company. Immigration and Nationality Enquiries Bureau helpdesk advised to send a letter, so in line with your response!

Thanks a lot again!
