IGS and HSMP

Post by visa_help » Fri Nov 16, 2007 10:10 pm

Hi Experts,

Currently i am in IGS visa and working full time in a company. I have completed masters in UK. My salary is 18,500 pa and under 27 years age.

To qualify for HSMP my salary has got to be 20,000 pa and above.

my question is

can i work as part time in another company or store to achieve 20,000(total = 18,500 + part time earnings) pounds pa mark. Will the home office take in to account of two jobs worked in a year?

Is there any working hours limitation in IGS visa, i mean 40 hours work per week or something like that?

Looking forward for your replies guys

Thanks

Yes you can work part, to make your earnings exceed the 20,000 threshold for your earning income band.

Also am currently on seg (currently igs) too and there is no limit to the numbers of hours you can work. if you want you can do 1000hours per week.

cheers
