Naturalization thru 5 yr residency

Post by HOTSPURS » Sun Nov 18, 2007 11:38 am

For making the decision of issuing Naturalization certificate will DOJ ask for any other documents at the end of 30 months' processing time? Does anyone know? Also, has anyone heard of refusal of cases for those who have legally worked for 5 yrs in Irealnd?

They may ask for additional documents or to verify documents you have sent in. They will do a check with the Gardai as well as the Department of Social and Family Affairs to check if you have claimed benefits. This is primarily done to check weather you can support yourself and people have been denied in the past as a result of claiming benefits.

If you meet all the requirements, have a steady job with no criminal history its unlikely that you will be refused, however the process is very slow.
