Salaam All,

By the grace of Allah our visa has Mashallah been granted! After 2 years, 2 months and 15 days of marriage we are finally going to be reunited forever very soon. A big thank you to all of the members for the advice and help I have received. I am going to stick around and offer whatever help I can to current and future members for the foreseeable future Inshallah.

Congratulations to all those who are getting processed email. It seems this week there were quite a few which is good because it looks like they are finally getting on with making these decisions! I have also noticed that they have updated the visa processing times on the website too and it is taking longer for them to give responses:

15 days - 1%
30 days - 2%
60 days - 65 %
90 days - 91%
120 days - 99%

Hello all. Has anyone utilized the priority service for settlemennt visa in Oct? If so, has anyone heard back in 2 weeks? I heard that we can purchase the priority service at VAC. Will be applying next week IA.

How much longer can it take when they say 'It is yet to be assessed by an Entry Clearance Officer (ECO).'

Emailed them 22/10/15: application is in process
Emailed them 30/10/15: it is yet to be assessed by an Entry Clearance Officer (ECO)

Their replies don't seem to make any sense to me lol

Think I might just have to give up on asking for updates.

Naveed777 wrote:So they have finally updated the processing time in working days for last month (Sep): below is settlement visas for Islamabad:

Number of days to process application 15 days 30 days 60 days 90 days 120 days
% of applications decided 1% 2% 65% 91% 99%

Their very first email that UKVI send you (in my case from Islamabad), they state that they have published standards and that they are meeting those standards with no forecast delays. My application is almost reaching 6 months in a couple of weeks without any progress but only delay. Has anyone had to wait for 6 months or more for their application outcome? From the statistics above I fear my application will be dragged further then 120 days.

Timeline:
Biometric @ ISB on 29th May 2015
Application delay email: 10 Aug 15
Application delay email after escalating : 09 Sep 15
Since then ... waiting :(((
Naveed777 i am in the same situation as you
since delay email 08 september 2015
no positive outcome. Esclated plenty of times but
nothing positive just normal automated reply emails
hi naveed777 any update about your application?

@tiger girl, was it you who said your MP had a meeting with the home office people?

Any advice/information that you could put forward, would be great. As i will be getting my MP to get in touch with them again. Want to make it a stong as possible to get this changed.

I really hope they overturn all these decisions!

And congrats to all who have received visas and good news. :-)

Salam,
I thinks its been 3rd time i am asking for answer of a simple question somit will be great help if some one will answer this.

My question is after going through this forum what i have learnt is mostly you do not get officiall mail when you ask for enquiry they will tell that you application has been processed.so what i need to know is even after that mail do you get official mail of your application has been processed or that is final mail and after that fedEx will contact you for passport collection or you have to wait for official nmail.

Thanks in advance.

Yes there is only one email from Gerrys to say your application has been recieved and to come and get there. there was no official email from UKVI .
