FLR (M) Confusions and grey areas!

Post by andy_london » Tue Nov 03, 2015 1:56 pm

Hello Everyone,

Least to say, the form is very confusing, either that or I am very stupid!
Need some guidance all the way through please?

I would appreciate you guys answering all of the questions I have, or as much as you can.

I am a British citizen and my wife is living with me in London currently on a Tier 2 (General Student) visa. I have booked our appointment on the 20th November 2015 and paid everything including the health surcharge(so soon!)
Let's Start with the questions

1.PAYMENT DETAILS - Do I still have to complete this since everything has been paid?
2.SECTION 5.5 - She has been refused a UK visa before but this was for a student visa about 2-3 years ago, she was enrolling on a course a the same level previously hence the rejection.
-Should we include this and explain? Would it create any complications?
3. SECTION 6.8 - Do I include all my previous address even though it is our first application?
4.SECTION 6.23 - Do I just say "Non-Religious Ceremony"? or is there a better word. We did this at the town hall
5.SECTION 7.13 - We rent a house (2 bedroom) and the other room is my friend, if we put all this in would it create any problems?
ITEMS OF CORRESPONDENCE
- I have 3 Credit cards 2 bank statements and a talktalk bill
- Hers - 2 Bank statements (Differrent periods), 1 EDF Bill, 2 Home Office Letters? Might also get a GP letter.
- Would a letter signed from Landlord be ok?

Any answers are much appreciated!
Thank you!:) :clap2:

1. You don't need it if you have paid online. Take email confirmation of payment with you.

2. You need to declare it if the form asks for it. Failing to declare the previous refusal will be seen as false representation/deception.

3. All address both of you have lived at TOGETHER.

4. Civil ceremony

5. Should be fine

Any suggestions where we can get documents quickly and easily? Want to be as safe as possible.

Thank you so much!

What do you mean by 'get documents quickly'?

I mean any other documents that are quite easy to obtain, thought I would try and gather as much as possible.

Should be fine. How long does it cover or how long have you lived together?

About 1 year, no paper work to prove though? Other than I can get my Landlord to put this in writing.
