I make it £28,200.Casa wrote:Before your questions are answered, are you aware that the minimum income level required when applying for your wife + 4 children will be £29,600 per annum.
You are correct. I apologiseCasa wrote:@petaltop Although maths isn't my best attribute, I believe I'm correct at the first child isn't calculated @ £2.400. See below:
An additional gross annual income of £3,800 is required for the first child sponsored in
addition to the Partner and an additional £2,400 for each further child. The level of the
financial requirement will therefore be for example:
Partner with no children – £18,600.
1 child in addition to the partner – £22,400.
2 children in addition to the partner – £24,800.
3 children in addition to the partner – £27,200.
I simply added a further £2,400 to £27,200 the fee for 3 children in addition to partner. = £29,600 for partner + 4 children
None of the child is born in UK.Petaltop wrote:I make it £28,200.Casa wrote:Before your questions are answered, are you aware that the minimum income level required when applying for your wife + 4 children will be £29,600 per annum.
£2.400 x 4 = = £9,600.
Plus 18,600 for the spouse
= £28,200
It still needs to be the amount declared to HMRC to be taxed on, as you rightly said.
Were any of the children born in the UK?
Wow! £7780!!Petaltop wrote: Each applicant will need their own visa application and all will have to pay their own visa fee of £956 and Immigration Health Surchange of £600 each.
That's for FLR(M) because that visa is valid for two and a half years. VAF4a is for 33 months (closer to three years) so it's £600 IHS...Wanderer wrote:Wow! £7780!!Petaltop wrote: Each applicant will need their own visa application and all will have to pay their own visa fee of £956 and Immigration Health Surchange of £600 each.
Isn't the surcharge £500 though?
I just can't get this in my head and I know it's easy!! Cheers!physicskate wrote:That's for FLR(M) because that visa is valid for two and a half years. Your spouse is the applicant, so she will need to submit the application. It is an online form:aanwar1948 wrote:I am really happy that everyone is taking interest in the post and calculations...
But my initial question list is still unanswered.
Can anyone please tell me the correct procedure of applying for Spouse visa, after gathering all the documents and arranging fees etc...I am very very confused.
Need a help here...
1. One form eachaanwar1948 wrote:Hi Everyone,
I came to UK through Tier 1 General. Got my ILR and Citizenship respectively. I am married with 5 dependents in Pakistan, this includes my 4 children as well. I am a self employed person and earning a pre tax income of more that 30K every year.
I want to apply for my family entry clearance from Pakistan. I have collected all the documents and now I have just few questions.
1. Do I have to fill appendix 2 of VAF 4A for every applicant (including my wife and 4 children) or just one will be OK?
2. Do I need to send all the documents including original online VAF and appendix 2 to Sheffield office along with 4 photos of every applicant OR I have to send these all documents to Pakistan and they will apply from there.
3. If I send all of these docs to Sheffield then will Home Office will call the family for bio metrics in Pakistan by sending letter or they have to book an appointment. If that's the case then what docs do they need to take with them on the appointment.
4. Regarding my financial requirements; I have already submitted the tax return for 2014-2015 in April this year. Now for managed accounts does those needs to be after 6 Apr 2015 till date OR they should be for the whole of the year meaning from Dec 2014 till Nov 2015.
5. For financial documents do I need to submit the invoices as well or just managed accounts will work along with bank statements.
6. Do I need to submit the TB certificate with the application or do they need it for just travelling purpose.
7. If successful, will they be issued with a a visa in their passports or BRP? If BRP, then will they get that in Pakistan or in UK.
8. For many years, I have been communicating with my family over WhatsApp, Viber and Skype and there is no call record for all of these apps, as batleykhan in his guidance notes, suggests that phone cards etc must be attached.
I will really appreciate some member advising me about all of these.
Thanks,

8. Dunno.
You do come across as you are demanding answers, I think that's whats putting people off.
I'm also looking for answer of this question.1. Do I have to fill appendix 2 of VAF 4A for every applicant (including my wife and 4 children) or just one will be OK?
