It's wasim. My wife's appointment at VFS Lahore for spouse visa will be on 16 November. I am on ILR.
I told my wife to post all the documents to me tomorrow through DHL including TB certificate, marriage certificate and A1 certificate etc. Once I received her documents I will post it to Sheffield with my documents. Someone told me that on appointment day at VFS only passport n appointment confirmation letter are needed.
But now I read on appointment confirmation letter it says bring your passport and supporting DOCUMENTS at VFS office on appointment day. Now I am worrying if VFS office ask her for supporting documents then it will be big problem for her because she been posted them documents to me already.
I can see so many people have already apply there partners visa in recent times. So please tell me from your experience that what documents VFS office need on appointment day.
Thank you.
Salaam Wasim. Nothing to worry about all supporting documents are with you and you send to Sheffield looks like they haven't updated the website. My wife went to the office in Pakistan office with her Passport , ID card and the payment reference and visa reference emails you get when you apply and pay online, hope this helps. May Allah reunite you soon

Hi Waseem Bro, my self tayyab, dont you worry, you did right, when you get your DHL parcel, you add your documents in it( all what you have here to support your application), and your wife only need to take with her these items to Visa centre,
1, passport
2, ID card
3, appointment letter
4, A print out of an online application with her photo attached on it, and with her signature.
dont worry if she have already sent you a copy, she can print another one again, visa centre will not keep it, they will see and return to your wife same time, if you dont have your online application with you at visa centre then they will ask you to print one there, and they will charge you, so your wife can take this print with her, when she will be there for her appointment ,
can i ask you? when your wife has passed English test, plz let me know,
good luck for your Application

we have received the same email from UKBA ON 3rd noember and so far no sign of call or text from Gerry's , they saying long delays, i dont know what happening , so cnat really say fo you how long, i m expecting mine on in the last week of November.

email details given below.

Dear ABCD,

Thank you for contacting the UK Visas and Immigration International Enquiry
Service.

We understand that you would like to know about the current status of your
visa application. I have tracked the status (GWFX23445674 and date of birth
12/12/1978) and found that the application has been processed and a
decision was made and it should be with you in the next few days.

Please note that your passport and documentation could still take some time
to reach you whilst being sent back from the decision making centre and
whilst other administrative formalities are completed. The visa application
centre will be in contact with you regarding the collection or delivery.

Hi Guys

Just a question re the supporting documents:

I got my first british passport a couple of weeks ago and i am including a certified copy of the first page with the application. Do i also need to submit copies of my pakistani passport? If so, do i need to include all pages to evidence my travel to pakistan for the nikkah?

Appreciate your help.

Thanks

I requested an update and received a reply to say the application has been processed and a decision has been made like a lot of people have received here. For those who are still waiting, stay positive and be patient. InshaAllah you'll here the news you've been waiting for.

I was thinking that ours was going to be refused as I didn't send the printed online application with my documents to Sheffield but alhumdullilah the visa was granted..
