Child benefit - Visa extension refused - Pls help

We are under immigiration control and claimed child benefit.We applied extension and my visa refused because of this and given a chance for appeal. mean time we contacted hmrc and informed it was overpaid for 3 years and asked to pay back. we paid back all money to HMRC . We are going to appear to First tier tribunal soon. Can you please tell any one got this kind of situation and what was the output? I am very stress.

Have you requested a copy of your child benefit application to see if you have indicated that you were both subject to immigration control?

Hi, unknowingly we have claimed the benefits cos we have been stamped as ' no recourse to public funds'. later on it was confirmed by Child benefit ofice that we were not entitiled.Still CB office not accepting their error though we claimed in good faith and provided all documents which were not checked by them. I just want to know any one has won the appeal in FTT .

Provide proof that it's been paid back and that you're no longer claiming and you should be ok.
