Call in letter is when your appeal is successful or your visa refusal is overturned and they send you a letter to submit your passportworried1 wrote:hi What is a call letter?Raymandosnr wrote:I received an email today that my visa has been proceeded and it has been sent back to VAC

really hope it is as u sayshakoorh wrote:That is exactly 12 weeks since your online application, which suggests that it is a generic email. They must have setup a rule that it automatically sends out an email after 12 weeks are up.khan1224960 wrote:Salam Everyone
I have been a silent reader of this forum . i have applied for Spouse visa on 6 Sep and bio on 11 sep and i have received " Not straight forward" email on 29 November can any one please guide me what does this email means and if its anything to be worried about?
Thanks alot in Advance
I don't think it means that your case is not straightforward, it's just a way for them to tell you we are running behind.
SubhanAllah hope it's good news!Raymandosnr wrote:I received an email today that my visa has been proceeded and it has been sent back to VAC
Sadly it takes more than 120 working days at the moment. On all VAC centers in Pakistan, 99% of cases are processed in 120 working days and not 100% as before. I have been waiting for more than 6 months to hear about the outcome of my application. I don't know of anyone on the forum to have waited this long.. Best of luck as our applications have fallen in the hands of God knows what bunch of incompetent and a** h**** ECOs.....rashadjee wrote:Today is 91 days since my wife had her biometrics done in Mirpur. I have escalated the case twice and I keep getting told that "it has yet to be assessed by ECO". I am totally saddened that we are now in week 16 and still no news from UKVI. We applied online on 16 July 2015.
Does anyone know what is the maximum time they can take to process the visa applicatiom?
Ooh that's actually what I'm afterCall in letter is when your appeal is successful or your visa refusal is overturned and they send you a letter to submit your passport
Do the UKVI have a maximum time limit in which a settlement visa must be processed?Naveed777 wrote:Sadly it takes more than 120 working days at the moment. I haven't received any processed email or anything just waiting on why the rejected now.
NO I don't think there is a limit and they are under no obligation to conclude the case in a limited time. They do say that they have service standards and aim to process 90-95% settlement applications in 12 weeks and 100% in 24 weeks/120 working days, but they are lagging behind and failing thier own "service standards"rashadjee wrote:Do the UKVI have a maximum time limit in which a settlement visa must be processed?Naveed777 wrote:Sadly it takes more than 120 working days at the moment. Yes, it's my first application, and this wait is killing.Saira143 wrote:@Go0612 I had an interview last week they asked me lots of questions about my application, so could be on answers I gave, but not sure. Is this your first application? The fact that we know the application has been rejected, and to now how to wait for their reply isn't fair. They should hurry up and give back the docs so we can move on to next
