FLR (M) LEAVE TO REMAIN FORM FOR MY WIFE

Post by shan220215 » Sun Dec 06, 2015 10:35 pm

Hello Everyone,

I am new to this forum i would like to apologise in advance if doing anything wrong, i have a few questions in relation to a leave to remain application for my wife which is due soon also i have a 9 month old son born here in the uk if it makes any difference, my wife was granted a entry clearance visa in 2013 and it expires on 13/02/2016.

Firstly when can i apply for the leave to remain does it have to be within or after the 28 working day period before it expires?

Secondly she sat a Ielts consortium test and scored a band 5 when she first applied for entry as part of meeting the english requirement which expires after 2 years, i contacted the ukba customer service line they have said the original certificate should be fine, would she still need to sit another english test again?

My final queston, i have the following items of evidence would these be excepted by the home office also my gas and electric would they count this as one bit of evidence or 2, also would contents insurance certificate in joint names count as evidence.

Council tax in joint names
Gas and Electric same provider in joint names
Contents insurance in joint names
my bank statements and wifes in individual names
NHS paper work in seprate names
wifes saving account in her name
TV LICENSE in wifes name

I am sorry there is alot of information here, but i thought i should provide it so its gives a general idea of where i am at present the whole process is stressing me out and is quite daunting.

Thank you everyone for your time and patience .
