Advise on property inspection Report

Post by dunca » Sun Dec 13, 2015 8:18 am

I have seen the UKBA have listed propert infection report as a requirement for proving sufficient accomadtion and no over crowding.

Can I please ask if this is mandatory , has anyone's visa been refused for not including it . A surveyor has quoted me £185 to do this and I find that quite steep.

Application is for a spousal visa.

I will so appreciate advise on this.

Thanks

Where have you seen the UKBA stating that a property inspection report was necessary?

Precisely. I had similar difficulty with a person who insisted that property inspection was necessary .

Hi, We have just applied for my husband to get a spouse visa and join me in UK. He is currently in Albania.
We did pay for a housing inspection report just to try to make the application appear more genuine...But I do understand that its not necessary.
A letter from the landlord or owner is sufficient.
I couldn't get this as I live in a council property and they wouldn't do this so I sent a copy of tenancy agreement, proof of rent payments and the inspection report. I paid £200 I think for mine.
Application was only submitted recently and we have further complications as my husband has a criminal record in the UK so we are likely to be refused anyway.
Good Luck
