Hello everyone,i find this forum realy helpful.
I am applying for PR as a EU worker.My wife is my dependant,she is student, EU citizen .Does she require medical insurance as my dependant? Do we need to fill separate application form for every applicant or we use one applicaton EEA PR for the whole family?

CSI is not necessary for the dependent of a worker.

You can apply for confirmation of PR together on same form.

Your family members
You can include your family members (including extended family members) in this application if
they also qualify for permanent residence.

You must pay an additional £65 for each family member you include. If your payment does not
cover you and your family members, we will reject your application and return it to you without
consideration.

If you wife has not been married to you for a period of 5 years, then she may not qualify, unless she can show she was a qualified person before marriage

This is only about EEA PR but didn't want to start a separate topic: both me and my husband are qualified workers (so no one is a sponsor of the other) does it mean we should apply for EEA PR on two separate forms?

I'm worried that the sections for family members are not as detailed as the main applicant (e.g. it doesn't even ask for their passport numbers! though of course we'd send both).

Any advice?

The form is the form; (although you can also apply by letter or by using an earlier version of the form).

You can apply together on the same form.
You will ofcourse have to submit an id document so the HO caseworker will know the passport or other id document number.
