What is the best way to Immigrate

Post by amandapenman » Thu Nov 29, 2007 12:55 pm

Hello everyone

I just wanted some advice on the best way to go about immigrating to Canada, my Mum, Dad & brother all immigrated 10 years ago and my brother is now a Canadian Citizen. Would it be the skilled worker route I should take for me (I am an revenue administrator), my partner (Postal Delivery Driver) and our two kids age 6 & 2. We have accomodation and everything to go, we would love to go as soon as possible.

Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
Amanda

Don't think you qualify under family class, but check this link to see:

http://www.canada.org.uk/visa-info/fc/fc_e.htm

If not you will probably get points (5?) for adaptability having family there.

If family class is out, skilled worker class is an option - you need to see if either of you have jobs which are on the NOC list.

If you want to get out there quick you will have to get a job to go to.

Thanks very much for you help, I think it could be the skilled worker option and I will find out about job offers.
