Dear Members,
I have applied at the Home Office at Croydon yesterday for an ILR dependent visa (changing from Tier 2)using an FLR(M) and all the documents you have suggested. I went for a premium service option as they would inform the decision the same day.
They put my visa on hold and said they don't know how long the decision would take. They said that they are satisfied with all my documents except with my marriage certificate as it's Indian. It seems they need to check their policies.
Earlier, I forgot to mention on my post that I have an Indian wedding certificate. What do you think I can do now? I am not sure if I can go to the council and get a certificate and submit it to the home office before they make the decision. I have read a few posts on this forum about rejections because of Indian marriage certificate and afraid that I will need to re-apply for my visa and pay the fee again if that happens.
Could you kindly advise if I can do something in the meanwhile or do I just need to wait for the reply from Home Office?:(
Please let me know.
Thank you so much for your time.
