eea (qp) registration certificate

Post by siasia25 » Fri Jan 15, 2016 1:31 pm

Hi all,
I am a European student in the UK and I own a small trading company. I would like to apply for an eea (qp) registration certificate.
I have booked a premium service in Croydon for the end of February.
I am completing the form but I had a couple of questions:
My main qualification being a student, I was wondering if I had to apply as both student and self-employed. My company generates small revenue ( less that a £1000 per year of profit) and I am thinking of closing it. I have realised that a lot of documents are needed for applying as self-employed.
Is a private health insurance subscription ( type health essentials) that covers for accidents... enough to be considered as comprehensive?

Thanks in advance for you help,
Sissi

You may apply in whichever category of qp you feel is most appropriate & for which you have the best quality documentary supporting evidence.

See HO guidance related to qualified persons - including details of CSI requirements, page 41+

You will note that a simple accident cover policy may not be appropriate nor 'comprehensive' enough.
